Dear reader, remember how I told you about my brother being on the radio? Well, the show is still on...it's just that his programming schedule changed and I've been too scattered to keep myself or anyone else abreast of the matter.
At any rate, his show airs this evening (and every other Friday) at 6:00 p.m., PDT. The radio station is Talk Radio AM 720 Las Vegas, or you can listen to it online at kdwn.com/streamer/... just click on this link at the aforementioned time.
It's pretty good stuff. You'll come away feeling super smart, like if you were ever to get on Jeopardy and the category was The Human Nervous System, you'd wreak havoc on the competition. Everyone would just, like, lay down their buzzers and burst into tears. The audience would chant your name. You would call out answers before being posed a question. Alex Trebek would start cursing in French and be all: who is this person and how does she know so much about nerves?!
I dream about these things.
In case you're unfamiliar with my brother or my enthusiasm for his work...he's a doctor, one of a handful of surgeons worldwide who are trained to perform specialized surgery on the body's peripheral nervous system.
I may not be a medical professional (though you would be forgiven for presuming otherwise), but even I know it's no cakewalk when it comes to tracking down those sneaky peripheral nerves. They branch out from your central nervous system and go positively haywire and anyone but my brother would have a dilly of a time locating them!
And if those nerves are giving you problems, they can put you in the hurt locker. They can hold a person hostage to pain like the world's tiniest terrorist.
My brother can solve that. Not just allay the pain. But make it go away for good.
Anyway, it's worth a listen.
Franchement...it's Las Vegas on a Friday night.
What else are you going to do??
