Dear reader (and especially Simone), I finally sent the goody bag off in the mail yesterday. For some reason it was very difficult to part with the school chums. They are so sweet. Their little faces, the nature of their conversation (conspirational, of course!), the contents of their bags, their striped socks...luckily I made a print version so I can enjoy a copy for myself. I'll add it to the shop soon, as well.
Did I ever happen to mention I had scores of rabbits as a child? Really too many to count. I spent so many hours with my rabbits I probably smelled like one. I would sit with them quietly, convinced I could read their minds. And I often had a shoe box at the foot of my bed in which was nestled a struggling runt. Oh, how my heart broke and body racked with sobs for those tiny, fragile souls!
At any rate, it may be I'll take a little break from Tollipop for the next few days. We are all, with the exception of my husband, flying at half mast around here. Really worn out, coughing our heads off, that sort of thing.
Then again, it could be I'll return tomorrow with absolutely loads to tell you.
It turns out even I can't predict myself very well, which is why I am always hesitant to announce my intentions about anything.
