Let it here be known I am taking poetic license with indigo this week. Indigo is defined as: The hue of that portion of the visible spectrum lying between blue and violet, evoked in the human observer by radiant energy with wavelengths of approximately 420 to 450 nanometers; a dark blue to grayish purple blue.
I suppose I think of indigo as much a mood as a color. Evening and shadows. I hope you can find it in these pictures.
My sweet nephew Max. There's an outside chance his family may be moving to Las Vegas this year, and if that happens, I just got me a new lizard catching partner!
{We can thank Max's mother for his enviable hair as well as for taking this picture.}
My sweet Sophie. An indigo silhouette bursting with energy and joy.
A grouchy, cantankerous desert. These moods pass quickly, so you have to enjoy them while they last.
Wishing you a lovely weekend!
