I'm at 39,226 word in my story, dear reader, but let's not do any mental math to calculate the paltriness of this accomplishment. Let's not look at it that way. Instead, let me tell you I'm at a happy place in the story, a place I would like to stay and enjoy, losing track of time or the need to move on.
