Dear reader, I do love a quick getaway and over the weekend we made one to the beach.
It's going to be nice, the change in pace, but this summer is shaping up to be one of our busiest yet. I'm not quite sure how I feel about that, but as usual I am along for the ride.
I'm also not sure how often I will be visiting Tollipop...there will be a lot of coming and going around here. I asked my husband to make a flow chart of the schedule, and if he would sit down with me and color code it in pencil crayons.
Do you think summer break should require a flow chart? It's not so much we are too terribly busy (though I think we may be on the brink), but more the result of my brain's inability to master the spacetime continuum.
At any rate, I will be here as often as possible, though I doubt I'll give notice of my sabbaticals.
That makes one less thing to color on my flow chart.
But I will be thinking of you. I'll be hoping all is well, and that your summer is a nice balance of fun and adventure and, of course, the quotidien. The quotidien is not always sexy, but it's real. And it's much more magical than most people realize.
Plus I think it makes hair grow on your chest, or something awesome like that.
